To ensure that each piece will meet our client's specific needs, as well as compliment the space it will inhabit, we design and build all furniture to order.

 

Design - Whenever possible, Joe will meet with you in person and visit the space where the piece will reside. He will take photos, precise measurements, do some sketching, and get to know you and how you intend to use your new furniture. He will also discuss material options and finishes with you at this time. After that he will create a series of sketches that will eventually lead to a finished design for your approval.

Build - After a finished design and price have been agreed upon, the construction of the piece will begin. The construction of each piece usually takes 4-12 weeks after a design is finalized. All work is done in our studio.

Material - Wood is meticulously selected based on its quality, visual appearance, and intended use. Grain orientation is vital to the longevity of each piece. Although we pride ourselves on solid wood construction, other materials like metal, glass, cane, leather, canvas, and fabric can be incorporated into any piece.

 

Delivery - If you are within a day's travel of Portland, we will hand deliver and install your piece in person, making sure it is exactly how you want it. The hand delivery cost will be included in your final price. If shipping is required, we will construct a secure crate for protection on its journey. Extra shipping charges will be applied.
